Featuring these 2022 CBCA Shortlisted Books

I’ve been dreaming…

Marley wakes up full of excitement and expectation. She’s been dreaming that she has written the most marvelous story and now she’s awake it’s time to set about making it happen. However, the road to creating her story is much more difficult than it first seems. What happens in dreams often isn’t how things turn out and Marley finds herself embarking on a journey filled with unexpected twists and turns. To reach a destination where ‘dream comes true’ she must overcome some pretty significant obstacles.

Dreaming is much more challenging when you’re awake!

Join Marley on her new STORY QUEST adventure as part of CBCA Book Week 2022 and celebrating the CBCA Book Week 2022 theme: "Dreaming With Eyes Open..." .

Students will be immersed into the storytelling and interaction with the books featured from the CBCA 2022 shortlist woven into an engaging, original narrative filled with music, adventure and intrigue!

We provide three different versions of STORY QUEST!  to suit the year levels watching. You can choose from either Junior General or Senior versions.

The livestream performance is hosted by your personal Actor/Educator interacting and discussing live-in-real-time with your students and classrooms, as they introduce the filmed educational theatre episodes of the exciting CBCA Book Week adventure. The livestream lesson includes interactive segments for students to answer quizzes connected to the learning points, have guided discussions on the educational themes and ask questions in real time!

The educational episodes are captured live-on-film with multi-cameras and in high definition, meaning everyone will be watching from the best seat in the house.

Hosting a Perform Education Livestream Incursion means your whole school can be involved whether having a large group viewing, classroom by classroom sessions, or even with individual students tuning in from home.

The session includes interactive discussions with the live host for your students to explore the themes and key questions connected to the learning points.

With your personal school link, the livestream performance will be available for your whole school to watch on the date/time of your scheduled incursion.

The Livestream e-learning package also includes a recording of the livestream incursion for your to re-watch and review all year long! Alongside this is a range of hands-on educational tools with online interactive games, quizzes, videos and lesson plans for the classroom and at home to extend the engagement and learning, all available for the entire school year!

The students loved it all. They were engaged, participated, laughed and loved to learn the dance moves before the live stream.  They also loved the interaction with you all, calling out answers to questions and waving to you.  Thank you for a great performance
